Betty Watts Scheidt
Mrs. Scheidt was married to Sunny Hills ophthalmologist Dr. John E. Scheidt, MD
Betty Watts Scheidt,
91, passed away peacefully at home on January 11, 2013.
Betty was born in Ohio,but spent most of her life in Southern California. Betty was married to Dr. John E. Scheidt and a resident of Fullerton for 30 years. She was active in the Fullerton Children's League and Assistance League.
Following her husband's retirement from a full time practice, they moved to Dana Point where she spent her last 30 years. Betty continued her life time membership with the Capistrano Valley Assistance League. Betty is survived by her daughter, Jody Elliott and her grandson Dr. John Elliott. She was loved by everyone who knew her. We will miss her.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 25th at 2PM at the Community Presbyterian Church in San Juan Capistrano. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the
American Cancer Society
.
