Beverly Jane Flynne, RIP
Suzy's ('64) mom.

 

Beverly Jane Flynne was born on December 6, 1919 in Spokane, WA, passed away in Newport Beach, CA, after complications from surgery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Flynne, and brother, Homer McDonald.

She is survived by her three children: Diane Mertes (Brian), Suzanne Wildman (Michael), and Robert R. Flynne. She has 4 grandchildren: Robert Wildman, Kathryn Hannosh (Paul), Heather Mertes-Smith (David), Margaret Mertes and great-granddaughter, Melody Rose Hannosh.
 
Beverly attended school and Cheney College in Spokane where she met her husband to be in Junior High School. In 1941 she and Robert were married on New Years Eve, because he had joined the Navy after Pearl Harbor.
 
She resided in Orange Co. for 55 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, aunt and cousin. Her nephews and nieces are: Scott McDonald, Sindet Hallman, Shaun McDonald and Mary Bargion. Besides being active as a hospital volunteer and in Scrabble competitions, she loved to read , sew and travel. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
 
A private memorial service will be held July 28, 2013 at McCormick and Son Mortuary; and a private gravesite service will be held at a later date at Inglewood Memorial Park Cemetery.
