Karen Ann Theroff Bouvier, ’63. 1945-2016
In her brother Jack’s obituary, Stephanie White, SHHS writes in the Comments that she knew Karen at SHHS.

Karen was born on April 11, 1945. She died on December 6, 2016 in California.

She was one of four children born to Herman and Helen Theroff. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and beloved son Jeff.

Karen loved people, movies, adventures, Starbucks, and travel. she had a wonderful sense of humor loved a garden full of flowers.

We miss her and know that there is no more pain and sadness. We will be together .again in the afterlife.

Karen A. Bouvier

1945 - 2016

Born in Hollywood CA in 1945, Karen was the second of six children born to Helen Graves, a local historian and newspaper columnist in 1970's.

The family enjoyed living in Hawaii in the early 1950's before relocating to Southern California and ultimately moving to Hesperia in the early 1960's.

Karen remained in the high desert until an unexpected passing in December 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and much beloved son Jeff. Karen is survived by her sisters, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, close friends, and an abundance of acquaintances within the US, France, and Italy.

Karen always wore a smile - her favorite things were flowers and gardening, getting together with family and friends, and to be honest - having dessert first!

The family would like to thank all who helped make her later years more meaningful: Dave and Auntie Mae, Shirely, Esther, Elaine, her Sorority sisters, and all of the people she connected with at local restaurants, the hair salon, the drugstore, etc. Everyone knew her! It has been difficult to accept that she is no longer just a phone call or visit away. Until we see you again, Happy Trails.

It was heartbreaking to learn that Karen had passed. She was warm, honest and caring. She will be missed. A wonderful soul, so giving, so very funny. May she rest in peace.

Much love,
