Mr. Edmund C. Lasswell, 1929-2014
Mr. Lasswell taught geometry at Sunny Hills in the 1960s.

Edmund was born on August 31, 1929 and passed away on Friday, February 21, 2014.

Edmund was a resident of Spring, Texas.

He was a fine, patient teacher who loved to teach and loved young people. He would sit across a table from us and work problems on a screen, and helped us with our work.

He gave us one of the most valuable practical suggestions in school: “When you’re trying to solve a problem, don’t just think about it. Take a pencil and a piece of paper and try working out solutions."

Mr. Lasswell was a kind man and we remember him well. He taught us to have confidence in ourselves and in our abilities.

I loved that man. He taught me geometry and I loved it. He was kind patient and he worked on that overhead projector and made it so simple.
