Jane Bellinger,1943-2020
Many of you knew Jane and her family in Fullerton, and some of you have older brothers and sisters who were Jane's classmates at Fullerton Union High School, Wilshire Junior High and Ford Elementary School. .

Jane Deanne Bellinger Broadway passed away peacefully at home on September 21 with her three children by her side. Jane fought a short but valiant battle against cancer. She was born in Riverside, CA on September 6, 1943, to Dean and Helga Bellinger. She is preceded in death by her siblings Stewart and Jean and is survived by her brother Jerome. She is one of many Schinhofen cousins and was the ringleader of many cousin reunions.

She extended her party planning skills and loving energy to Fullerton High School reunions, Wayne Avenue neighbor reunions, and Soccer Bunch trips. During her teenage years, she competed in competitive figure roller skating and continued the tradition by strapping wheels on her grandkids and taking them to the rink with her.

Many of her childhood and teenage buddies became lifelong friends, and they, along with many other of her loved ones were by her side in her final weeks. She raised her three kids in Orange and was kept busy as team mom, cub scout leader, party planner, carpool driver, and second mom to many of her children's friends, all while working full time.

Her career started with the City of Fullerton and the City of Anaheim. She went on to work for John Seymour as he progressed from the City of Anaheim, to the California State Senate, to the U.S. Senate, and then to the California Housing Finance Agency.

She was passionate about her work & her independence and proud of a career that took her to Washington D.C. and Sacramento.

She retired in 2008 and relocated back to Orange County in 2014. Jane loved gatherings of her family and friends.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Russ (Autumn), Vivian (Jamie), Linda (Mike); grandchildren, Brandon (Shawn), Brianna (Steven), Thomas, Caitlin, Steven, Marin, Michaela, Mason; and great-grandchildren, Kenadie, Tatum, and Oakley. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, lifelong friends, including the Soccer Bunch, and of course her sweet dog Joey.

Due to COVID-19 Jane's family has decided not to have an in-person celebration of life at this time. Jane was a big supporter of the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation because of her grandson Tommy.

Janes’s brother Jerome was a year ahead of me at Fern Drive, Wiltshire and Sunny Hills. I always liked him. So sorry for the loss of his big sister - may she Rest In Peace.
