Bud was a friend of mine. In 2002, Bud came up to join me and Tom McCutchen, '67 for lunch with our teacher and friend, Dr. Jim Schlotthauer from Nicolas Junior High. We had a rollicking good time at Polly's Pies on Raymond in Fullerton.

At one point in his career, Bud directed a United States engineering project in Siberia for approximately 6 years, maybe 8, He spent much of that time on the site in Siberia. He was an outstanding American gentleman.
