Linda Ronstadt’s band was the “Stone Pony’s”. Don Henley and Glenn Frey were in Linda’s band at that time and later went on to become original members of the Eagles in 1971.

I saw several of those above but also remember Count Basie as a regular. After the work shift it was the place to be.

I was a Sweeper there in 1969-1971, full time and part-time, Darrell Albers, ’65 was one of my supervisors, Larry Loeck played a sizzling guitar for one band there -- forget the name at the moment,

I remember the Temptations .. Dobie Gray .. Chuck Berry .. the Grass Roots .. the Mamas and the Papas .. Stevie Wonder .. Buffalo Springfield .. Linda Ronstadt (with the Eagles as her band) .. Little Anthony and the Imperials .. The Carpenters ,. Shango.

But I can;t remember which ones played at Coke Terrace and which ones played at the TomorrowLand Stage. I was working and they watched us closely, so we didn’t; always have the chance to slow down and watch the music.
