David C. Fowler passed away March 12, 2021, at his home in New Plymouth, ID, at the age of 70.
Dave was born June 6, 1950, in Payette, ID, to Orvil and Helen (Baker) Fowler. In 1956, the family moved to Fullerton, CA, where Dave graduated from Sunny Hills High School in 1968.
In time, he joined the U.S. Army and served at the Pentagon and Key West, FL. He attained the rank of sergeant before leaving the army.
Dave married Kathy Hix in October of 1983, and they continued to work and live in Southern California. In 2015, Dave retired from his position as an industrial designer at IAC Industries in Brea, CA, and he and Kathy relocated to New Plymouth, where they greatly enjoyed life in farm country.
Dave is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Jesse; sisters, Pat Fowler of New Plymouth, Peggy Oliver of Grants Pass, OR, and Esther Murphey of Nampa; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles and Robert; niece, Kristin M. Luna; and great-great nephew Alyas Alvia.
Cremation is under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel in Payette.
There will be no public service, and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to Dave’s favorite charity, the Idaho Humane Society, c/o Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, P.O. Box 730, Payette, ID 83661.
A talented musician and artist, Dave was a deeply loved husband, brother, and uncle. We will miss him and the laughter and love he brought into our lives.
