Dr. Fenn Nelson, DDS, 1922-1996

 

Fenn Eugene Nelson, DDS, born June 16, 1922, in Richfield, Utah, passed away Friday, April 19, in Fullerton, Calif.  

Fenn will be greatly missed by his wife, Roene; children, Chet, '67, Kathleen, Curt, Paul and David, and 21 grandchildren.  

The ninth dentist to set up a practice in Fullerton, Fenn was joined by his three oldest sons until he retired in 1994. Fenn served 14 years in the bishopric for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 

Fenn was an avid fisherman, hunter and Scouter. He was awarded the Silver Beaver award for his commendable service. This service extended to community, church and family. We will remember him most for how his living example taught us to be kind, gentle, sweet and giving.

We are going to miss our "Pappa."  Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at the LDS Chapel, 801 Raymond. Viewing at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Memory Garden Memorial Park, Brea, California, by McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, Fullerton.
