Ken says, "I am in my third career. This time I am a high school baseball coach, Athletic Director, and math teacher at King/Drew Magnet High School in Watts. I live in Los Angeles with my wife of 45 years. We are child free."

King/Drew is located at 1601 E 120th St, Los Angeles, CA 90059 on Compton Avenue in an unincorporated area known as Willowbook, east of the Harbor Freeway. The school was founded in 1982. The students are chosen for their interest and aptitude for medicine and medical sciences and science itself. King/Drew is affiliated with the private, nonprofit Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital nearby,  a nearly $300 million medical center.
