Hearing Loss ..  and us
Many of you know I'm completely deaf now, and was very hard of hearing from birth to about 202,

The reason I’ve written these essays is that I have a lot of experience with the subject, I also studied it in college. Possibly what I write here can be beneficial to you. I hope so.

Most people our age have some hearing loss, and many of you have mentioned that. to me. I cover some important subjects here, and I’ll answer your questions if you have any.

There's good news for any of you who might be worried you'll go deaf some day. That's extremely unlikely, and probably a 200-1 probability you will NOT -- maybe 500-1 or even 1,000 to 1. You see, for that to happen, you'd have to experience a true catastrophe -- and you might as well worry about a King Cobra biting you!

If you have a hearing loss now, a significant one, maybe when you’re 90 or 95 it will be a big problem. Until then ..

So if you’ve got the time, I've got the beer!
