James Roger Ray
May 4, 1951 - March 31, 2021
In the early evening of March 31, just 34 days before his 70th birthday, Jim passed away peacefully in his home. He went to join the rest of his family.
Jim was born to Bob and Jo Ray in Fort Wayne, Ind. The family moved to California in 1954. He graduated from Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton where he was active in Future Farmers of America.
Jim married Michelle Norder Snow in 1982. Jim is survived by his wife Michelle, their children Sean and Amanda, and their grandchildren Conner James, Benjamin, and Harmony. He will also be lovingly remembered by several young people who called him "Dad", numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Jim was a kind, devoted man who never met a stranger. He loved his family and the military. He was proud of his sobriety. He loved to fish with friends and family. He devoted many weekends volunteering with Homes for Our Troops. He was always willing to lend an ear to any one who needed him to listen.
There will be a Memorial Service on May 4, 2021 at Living Trust Christian Fellowship in Corona at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations in his name to Homes for Our Troops.
