James "Jim" Luther Arnold, 72, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020, after battling Cancer. He was born on January 5, 1948, in Long Beach, CA, son of Miles L. Arnold and Norma (Johnson) Arnold.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Richelle, Son-in-Law Larry, his grandchildren Shaun and Isabella, and his sister, Susan.
He graduated from Army Navy Academy in 1966 followed by enlisting in the Army. He served in Vietnam from 1968-1971 and he became a Field Artillery Unit Commander and flew as a Forward Observer in the 101st Airborne Division.
Following his military time, he worked in the family restaurants, Arnold's Farmhouse, and The Buttery. He was a great chef and enjoyed the restaurant business. Later in life, he opened his own, Arnold's Lil Farmhouse in Temecula.
He loved spending time with his family and friends whether it was catching up over a drink at Mulberry Street In Fullerton singing with his friend's bands, karaoke, or going for a ride on his Harley. He also loved his grandchildren and would attend as many of their school/sporting events as possible, usually the loudest cheerer on the sidelines.
