John Woodall, ’66. 1948-2004.
Born March 31, 1948. Passed away August 1, 2004.
John graduated from Sunny Hills High School in Fullerton, California in 1966. He attended Fullerton College, where he was Student Body Treasurer, president of the Circle K Club, and the College's Man of the Year in 1972.
He then attended Cal Poly Pomona, where he was also involved in the Circle K Club, serving as Lt. Governor and as Governor of the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of Circle K International during 1973-1974. John was a lifelong member of Kiwanis, and was a member of the Kiwanis Clubs of Pomona Valley, Hermosa Beach, Greater Fullerton and Fullerton. He was president of the Hermosa Beach Kiwanis Club.
Over the years, he served as an advisor to the Circle K Clubs at Cal Poly Pomona, Fullerton College and Cal State Fullerton, and helped build new Circle K clubs at many colleges and universities. He also served as an advisor to Key Clubs at many local high schools. John's primary business was as a film distributor. He showed "Star Trek Bloopers, " "MASH Bloopers" and "History of the Beatles" nationwide. He also managed movie theatres in Pomona and Stanton.
John is survived by his wife, Camille Goulet, as well as his sisters Carole Kowitt, Marianne Glassen and Jane Huskins and their families. Information regarding a memorial service will be available in the future at http://www.johnwoodall.org
