SUMMER OF 1965, SUMMER SCHOOL AMERICAN HISTORY TAUGHT BY MRS. JOAN REINER,

I SIT AT THE VERY FRONT, NEAR MRS, REINER’S PODIUM. ONE DAY I HAD A BRAND NEW PAIR OF TENNIS SHOES, SHINY WHITE, AS I SAT THERE, MARSHA MCLANAHAN, ’67 WALKED IN JUST A FEW SECONDS BEFORE CLASS STARTED. SHE CLIMBED OVER MY SHOES AND SAID IN A LOUD VOICE:

“GOD, YOU’VE GOT BIG FEET!”

HA HA HA HA HA HA!

Winter nationals at Pomona dragstrip. Aaron McGuire and Jack Barth and I slept in car overnight and then we put Jack in the trunk of the car cuz we didn’t have enough money for 3 guys to get in. We forgot Jack until we heard him yelling at us. Still had a great time.
