Leland (Doc) Schade passed away at age 70 on August 6, 2017 in Oroville, California. 

He was born in Lubbock County, Texas on August 7, 1946. His father was Edward George Schade and his mother was Lela Mae Barrett Schade. Leland attended Nicolas Junior High School and graduated in 1959. 

Leland was an Ensign 3 in the U.S. Navy in the Vietnam War. 

Burial was at Northern California Veterans Cemetery, Igo, Shasta County, CA. 

No public services were held.
