1. I'm amazed that the great Carl Smith would interpret the song as he does: he sings it as a light-hearted tune, more or less a joke, almost a novelty song. Yet this is a song about a man with a gun in his hand, threatening to kill his lover and the man she's with.

2. The Red Bees play and sing with all their heart. I enjoyed their performance.

3. I love the way Christone "Kingfish” Ingram sings and plays. He is the real deal, singing and playing a real song in a real way realistically, reflecting the lyrics and the mood of the song itself.
