Mrs. Madeline Haines,1926-2020

 

Madeline Marie Haines from Fullerton, California, beloved wife of David McElvery Haines (Ossing, New York), passed away peacefully Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2020.

Madeline was born August 21, 1926 in Corry, Pennsylvania to Vincent and Anna (Siegel) Hoerbelt. Growing up in Buffalo, New York, Madeline is predeceased by her husband David, her son David Paul, and her daughter, Suellen Marie (Haines) Stalford ('72) (spouse, Jim). Madeline is also predeceased by her brother, Vincent, Jr., and sisters, Virginia and Colletta. Madeline is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Therese (Haines) Reser (spouse, Mark) of Snohomish, Washington, and son Christopher Caleb Haines (spouse, Angela Gibson) of Fullerton, California. Madeline, grandmother of seven wonderful children; Shannon Marie Stalford, David James Stalford, Caleb Joshua Bradley, Hannah Renee Bradley, Aidan Michael Haines, Patrick David Haines, and Kate Elizabeth Haines.

Madeline proudly worked at Bethesda Maryland Naval Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital of Orange, CA, St. Jude Hospital, Fullerton, CA, was sole-proprietor of Madeline's Cards and Gift Shoppe, Fullerton, and retired from Hughes Aircraft, Fullerton.

Madeline was a proud Catholic of St. Pius V, St. Philip Benizi, and later St. Juliana Falconieri, Fullerton, CA. A celebration of Madeline's life was held at Christ Cathedral, Orange, California, and final resting place is at the Good Shepherd Cemetery, Huntington Beach, California. No Flowers. Madeline was a supporter of St. Vincent De Paul. McAulay & Wallace Mortuary.
