Mr. Glen Doyle Brunk, 82, a resident of Fullerton for over 50 years, passed away on July 21, 2006.
Born in Bloomfield, IA, Glen moved to Orange County at an early age. He graduated from Santa Ana High School as an outstanding athlete, which earned him a football scholarship to USC.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Retired from Hughes, Fullerton. Glen was a member of the Fullerton Elks Lodge for 50 years and served as its Exalted Ruler in 1966-67.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Virginia Mae along with their daughters, Linda Dilli, '62 and Karen McDonald, also of Fullerton. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow services at Loma Vista Cemetery in Fullerton. Arrangements by McAulay & Wallace Mortuaries (714) 525-4721
