Mr. Nelson Eller Burrin was born on December 22, 1920 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He died on March 13, 1995 in Oceanside, CA.
He graduated in the Class of 1938, Shortridge High School, Indianapolis, IN where he played varsity basketball and became an Eagle Scout.
He graduated from Purdue University with a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering, Class of 1942.
Mr. Burrin was a Chemical Engineer for Dow Chemical. He was awarded a patent for a new plastic material for airplane windshields.
Mr. Burrin married Bettie Louise Rusie on October 10, 1942 in Marion, Indiana. They had four children, Stephen, '62; Susan, '64; Peggy, '69; and Chip.
