Mr. Tobias "Lee" Stam of Diamond Bar, died at age 88, Sunday, of complications from a stroke.
He is survived by a loving family, including his daughter,
Diane Offill; son, Wayne Stam; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Stam was not only beloved by family and friends, but was a loved and respected professional who worked at Caltech and JPL for nearly 20 years as a patent attorney and administrator, served on two presidential panels on higher education, worked at the U.S. Patent Office and served as an officer in the Navy in WWII.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Remembrance, 500 South First Avenue in Arcadia.
