Mr. Vincent John Citrano, Contract negotiator, WWII Army captain, 88.
Vincent John Citrano died on Thursday, Aug. 23, at his home in Newport Beach, Calif. He was 88. A celebration of his life will be held on Sept. 9 in California.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, Mr. Citrano grew up in Verona and moved to Fullerton, Calif., 40 years ago. He also maintained a home in Newport Beach. Mr. Citrano was a contract negotiator in the aerospace industry for many years.
He was a 1936 graduate of Verona High School and had a BA in business administration from Boston University. Mr. Citrano served as a captain in the U.S. Army in North Africa and Italy during World War II. He is survived by his wife, Marian Bochicchio Citrano; a daughter, Mary Citrano, '66; two sons, Vincent and Lenny; his brother, Richard Citrano, and two grandchildren, Vince and Joey.
