Mr. William (Bill) Robert Jolly, 76, a longtime Fullertonian died Jan 20, 2000 in a car accident. 

Known for his sense of humor, the civic group that Bill belonged to had an annual joke contest which Bill always won. He is described by a close friend as "the single funniest individual I ever met.” 

He was the Manager of Thompson’s Furniture for many years, an active member of the Chamber of Commerce and a member and past president of the Rotary Club. 

Services were held in Prescott, Arizona where Bill and Lola had lived since their move from Fullerton ten years ago.

Bill will be missed by his wife of 50 years Lola; son Mark, ‘69; daughters, Jyll Rankin, Janet Morello, and Paula Amaya; and seven grand­ children. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
