Mrs. Beatrice Jaffe, 1922-2009

 

Beatrice Jaffe passed away at home in Anaheim Hills on April 22, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. 

 

She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Allen Jaffe; two sons, Robert and Kenneth; one grandson, Syrus; two great-grandsons, Noah and Bode; also by her daughter-in-law, Judianne Jaffe; and her granddaughter-in-law, Kathy Keeler. 

 

Born in the Bronx, New York on December 26, 1922, Beatrice served as a librarian in the Fullerton Public Library System for 25 years, primarily at the Hunt Branch Library. 

 

She is also survived by her sister, Rose Slotkin of New York, and her beloved nieces, grandnieces, nephews, grandnephews, and cousins. 

 

Memorial services are pending at the National Cemetery in Riverside. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica, or the American Heart Association. McAulay & Wallace Mortuary
