Mrs. Helen J. Mullion, RIP
Mother of Ron, ‘63

Mrs. Helen J. Mullion, 1921-2017

Helen Julia Mullion, longtime resident of Fullerton, California, went peacefully to be with her Lord on December 20, 2017. She was 96 years old.

Helen was born on November 25, 1921 in Detroit Michigan to Lita and Alger Dunn. Helen was the third of four girls. Her two older sisters, Margret and Alice, preceded her in passing with the youngest, Rosemary, currently residing in Michigan.

Helen married John Mullion in 1942 in Detroit, Michigan and then built a magnificent home together in St Clair Shores, Michigan. Helen would set blocks and material out for John to build with when he was off work and then she would work right alongside of him mixing cement, carrying blocks and pounding nails. They truly built this house together by hand. In 1958, with a new venture in mind, the couple moved to Whitter, California. In 1959 they purchased a lot in Fullerton and began to build a new home.

Helens interests were primarily focused on her love for her family. Helen was a loving mother who instilled hard work and a desire to succeed in her children. She is survived by her children, Ronald, Robert, Mark, Denise and James, along with 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

The viewing will be held at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary in Fullerton, January 3, 2018 from 5 to 7 pm with the Rosary to follow at 7pm.

The church service will be held at St Mary's in Fullerton on January 4, 2018 at 10:00 am. McAulay & Wallace Mortuary - Fullerton
