Longtime Fullerton resident, JoAnn Ensign, passed away on April 30, 2017 at the age of 96.
She was born to Frank & Maude Burum in Los Angeles and graduated from USC, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.
JoAnn moved to Fullerton with her husband Harold Ensign and their young family in 1950. She actively supported her family's extra-curricular activities, and later worked as an accounting assistant.
JoAnn also served as a docent at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library for over 10 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harold following 63 years of marriage in 2006. She is survived by her four children and their spouses: Victoria Trendel (Jack), William Ensign (Cynthia), Gayle Iandiorio (William), and Lawrence Ensign (Patricia).
She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society .
