Pamela Shelters, ’66, 1948-2004

 

 

Pamela Jean Shelters, 56, of Fullerton, Calif., passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at her home with her extended family in Hixson, TN. 

 

She was born in Elizabeth, N.J., graduated Sunny Hills High School, Fullerton CA and was a member in the International Order of Jobs daughters. 

 

She was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army and served in Operation Desert Storm. Her mother, Virginia E. Shelters and brother, Thomas V. Shelters preceded her in death. 

 

She is survived by her father, Vernon Shelters; sister Linda Cooper; nieces, Melinda Kulak and Michelle Glover ; significant other, Darlene Rudd and her family; niece, Genel Rudd; nephew, Anthony Rudd; several great nieces and great nephews. 

 

Memorial services were held on April 30, 2004 at Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN., with full military honors.
