Hi Dad,
I didn't know all of those things about our family, I'm glad they are all now written down. Very interesting Fullerton facts!

Hi, Tony:
I can't call you Charlie, as I never heard you called that when we were growing up next door to each other.
Boy, you sure brought back the memories...the vacant lot before the church was built, the 'barranca' between our back yard fences and the playground at Golden Hills and the 'jungle' of twisted trees down at the dead end of Casa Blanca. Do you remember the first time you ever heard the high pitched 'screams' of the peacocks??
I also had Mrs. Harris in kindergarten, she was a wonderful person and teacher! I even remember staying at her house (across from the school) one day--I felt very important!! :) Do you remember the first summer of Disneyland, when we would stand at the top of Euclid and watch the fireworks at night? For a one block street, we really had a lot of kids the same age: you, me, Kent Wiese, Kathie Delahanty and, I think, George Cornwall--and, except for Kathie, we all lived on the same side of the street, next to each other: George, you, me and Kent!
Unfortunately, after kindergarten I went to St. Mary's School...so I really didn't know all the other kids you mentioned. BUT, I did have a classmate named Jim Ertle, and his older brother married your sister--what a small world....
I moved off of Casa Blanca in June of 1960, when my parents bought a new home in Placentia, so I really lost track of everyone there. I ran into Kent Wiese at FJC and found Kathie on Reunion.com and, finally, you found me on Facebook!!
Thanks for including me in this--it's been fun looking back. Mary

These pictures brought a smile to my face when I got home from work just now (Nordstrom South Coast Plaza). Hello Charlie!!! Congratulations on your new marriage. I remember all of those people in Mrs. McElroy's class!! I can even name the ones that were not identified. Isn't it funny? I guess we take in more than we realize when we are nine years old! Your daughters are beautiful. I understand you are still in town as am I. We recently moved back after living in Murrieta, Ca for 7 years. It is good to be home!
Thanks so much for sharing these.
Candy
