Hilda Schinhofen, 1922-2011
Mrs. Schinhofen was a glorious SHHS mom with a beautiful family. Many of us have known the Schinhofens from St. Mary's since our childhood.

Hilda Patin Schinhofen

Mrs. Schinhofen was 88. Surrounded by family, friends and loving neighbors, Hilda Schinhofen entered eternal life on January 6, 2011.

Hilda, a Native Californian, lived a generous and beautiful life with infectious humor and intelligent curiosity. She loved her faith and all living things.

She had mastered 50 different art forms. Lace-making was her greatest love. With her husband, Henry, she had volunteered significant work in the creation of the Ralph B. Clark Interpretive Center in Buena Park.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry. She is survived by six children, six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be 5-9 pm January 11th with Vigil at 7 PM at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary. January 12th 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial and Reception at St. Mary's Parish in Fullerton. Interment following at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations: St. Joseph Hospice. McAulay & Wallace Mortuary

I just wanted to thank you Paul for this beautiful description of my Mom's life while there are a few errors, you or who ever wrote this was mostly spot on. My mom was remembered beautifully. Thank you. We all miss her greatly.

I did not know Mrs. Schinhofen but am a good friend of her daughhter, Kathy, who spoke very fondly of her mother and visited her often in Fullerton. They are are strong family and I know they will uphold each other in the Lord.
