The Generosity of '68
This is the type of gesture you rarely see any more, ladies and gentlemen. A group of people made a large gift to an organization they were affiliated with more half a century ago and asked for nothing in return.

You know them as Brad Rawlins, Pat Hartunian Simonian, Sue Flinn Rawlins, Carla Moore Harrison, Mary Hicks McInerney, Cathy Moore Cramm, Gary Calloway and Jenneen Lehman Perkins. They are the 54th Year Reunion Committee for the Class of 1968: the 600-member member group that raised the sum of $9,000 for Sunny Hills High School. The gift will be used for important campus repairs.

In the photo, from left, the current principal, Pat (partially obscured) and Brad.

Magnificent, all of you.

Did I hear someone say high school was forgotten, a thing of the past, irrelevant, not worth thinking about?

Classes of 1962, 1963, 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1969 and 1970, ask not what your high school can do for you. (It already did.) Ask what you can do for your high school.
