Tommy J. “TJ" Pruitt, 86, passed away December 9, 2008.

Survived by sons, Ron (’67)and Dennis; grandchildren, Jason, Joshua and Holli Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Angelica, Ariel, Alyssa, Anthony, Matthew, Natalie and Zechariah; brothers, James and Russell; and sister, Irene Pruitt.

Viewing is 2-4 p.m., Sunday, December 14 at McAulay & Wallace Mortuary, Fullerton. Funeral service is 10 a.m., Monday, December 15 at Green Hills Baptist Church, La Habra.

Burial at Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullerton. MaAulay & Wallace Mortuary

The Pruitt boys were two of my best friends in elementary school. I remember Mr. Pruitt as a kindly fellow, who also ran a tight ship at home. I am delighted to see that his sons provided him a wealth of blessings with grandchildren and great grand children. I remember the three of us used to watch Engineer Bill in their living room. I also seem to remember they had one of the first color TVs on our block! I have not seen them since high school days.
