Vern's Car Venture
We're talking about our old friend, Vern Fotheringham, '66, who hails from the Woodcrest neighborhood of Fullerton originally.
Today Vern is a telecommunications/electronics/computer owner and chairman, as well as an industrialist and investor. His truest love, however, may well be fine automobiles, an affinity he developed as a young boy. Vern's first job, in fact, was at Ferdie's Chevron Station, owned by Elizabeth Barreda's dad.

I'll ask Vern to explain a little more about these automobiles -- and how Lancers might be able to purchase them ..

VERN OFFERS THIS CORRECTION TO MY RIDICULOUSLY WRONG FULLERTON GEOGRAPHY EARLIER (FOR WHICH I APOLOGIZE TO MY WOODCREST PALS):

"Just some geographic corrections for your kind references about my VEMAC Cars Company in the Spoon. "Ferdie's Chevron Service" was located on the northwest corner of West Union and Harbor Blvd. directly across the street from the old Fullerton Car Wash. I grew up at 1448 West Woodcrest which was just south of Orangethorpe, between Euclid and Brookhurst."
