IF YOU’RE WONDERING WHY THE SPOON HASN’T BEEN EDITED SINCE LAST THURSDAY NIGHT, IT’S BECAUSE THE WEBSITE COMPANY HASN’T SENT ME THE NEW PASSWORD YET. THEY CHANGE IT EVERY 2 WEEKS AND SEND ME THE NEW ONE. THEY’RE LATE.

Thanks, Richard. Interesting comment. Not too surprising, I guess.
Saw your pictures at the '62 reunion. All you folks look great. Good to see Mr. Burrin. Take care, buddy.

Thayer Chrysler Plymouth.
Leo had a 67 Plymouth wagon. He would bring to our dealership.
It had no back seats . Full of all kinds of electrical items.

Dear Classmates. I am relieved and excited to report that my summer home in Corolla, NC (about 100 miles north o f Cape Hatteras NC on the Outer Banks) was out of danger when Florence took a turn south, as was my. Home in Chesapeake just next to Virginia Beach. My heart goes out to those further south. I must add I would have never recognized the SH football team of today without the jerseys !!!

Does anyone know how Bill Frick is doing with his grapes,/Wines? Think of him often during the fires and wonder if they endanger him at all.
Best of luck, Bill. Eileen

I’ve wondered, too, Eileen. I’ll try to find out right now. Thanks for asking.

Hi to all fellow Lancers from yesterday! Looking at the then and now pictures - I must say, some of you are looking great while some could use a makeover and a do over! But, we can't control the genes we were born with I admit myself.

We were really living in a segregated community back in the 60's... Today Sunny Hills has blacks, of course Hispanics and more Asians - than white people. What a difference 50 years can make! I'm proud of the progress.

Take care always - Lancers

Paul, thank you for your kind tribute and wonderful memories of my husband! My triplets and I will be in Fullerton this weekend (April 1-3). I contacted Sharon Kennedy. She and Eric Chang are going to meet us on Saturday afternoon, for a drive past Darryl's house and maybe past Sunny Hills HS. Would you like to meet us also? Sharon has my contact info. Thank you AGAIN for sharing your memories of Darryl!

Seems like the Hale and Jewett families have more in common than lifelong friendship and Fullerton. I have been doing genealogical research on my family and found that Mary Jewett is my 8th Gt. Grandmother back in around 1693. Small world.

Great ! I saw so many people that brought back my days at Sunny Hills. I'm still here, kicking the football around, and waiting for my first great grand child to be born in November. What a joy that will be.

Sad day. Just found out my friend of 50 years, George Vermillion, died on his boat last night. We lived on different coasts, but spoke a few times every week. His was the Bass Player in our group, from High School on. Last time I saw him was 2 years ago, and we played again at our home. It was sure a joy. George, you will be missed. RIP George Vermillion.

Class of 65 working on 50 year reunion. Is Class 66 starting to contemplate anything for 2016? Or too early.
